WHO WE ARE

The Ontario Communications Centre (OCC) is the center for all dispatching and 911 communications in the province of Ontario. Operators within the Ontario Communications Center are highly trained to handle all situations that may arise in the province, both within the public and emergency services personnel.

The job of Operators within the Ontario Communications Centre is to provide support to all emergency services personnel throughout the province. In addition, Operators are tasked with being the first line of communication and support for the public. 

Operators in the OCC handle radio communications for all Ottawa Police Service, Ontario Provincial Police and Ottawa Fire Service personnel. They also handle all 911 communications for the citizens of Ontario
